Most of my hunting partners either got drawn for other tags or don't have vacation time. I just found out that my one partner who was all lined up to go scouting and had two weeks to spend on the actual hunt is having some health issues and needs to lay low while the docs start running some tests.

So... I'm looking for a partner or two who are interested in going on the hunt of a lifetime. Its' really sad to think that I have this great tag and nobody to share it with. That's just not how it's supposed to be.

I'd like to hunt with somebody who can be patient enough to pass on the bullwinkles and wait for a trophy, but also be able to help with calling and of course capeing, boning and packing. I had planned to scout on September 5-8 and hunt the first two weeks of October. If this sounds like you or someone you know, I would love to talk.

If I didn't have a hunt already planned myself I'd go over and help you out. I can give you a few places to go that have moose though, I'll send you a pm
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

You might want to check with bear paw outfitters.  Keep hanging out here you will get someone, it's a great community and that's a great tag.

I can't believe more folks aren't interested in helping out on one of the most wanted tags in the state.

That's a great tag.  I saw a bull with awesome fronts and probably 42" wide on a road off the Flowery Trail a few weekends ago.

I don't know if it's as good of a spot as further North in that unit but I've seen a few masher bulls while hiking all over the North side of the Flowery Trail.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I'd be interested, but already committed to helping a tag holder in Selkirk whack a big moose.  Good luck.
