Washington legend down
« on: October 24, 2008, 07:14:47 AM »
As everyone on here knows, there were two 450 class bulls in Washington this year.  Not any more.  Obviously Agnew got the one, but the other big one, the 8x8, was killed yesterday also.  A Walla Walla hunter shot him.  His preliminary score is between 415 and 420.  He broke off one entire point and did not grow another one, making him a 7x7 this year.  The loss of the two points lost him quite a few inches.  It appears he would be scored as a typical, at least from the pictures.  The dude who found the huge sheds guided the hunter to this bull.  So it would appear we are fresh out of world class bulls for now........

would love to see the pics. Was the hunter or guide Sam Argo? I heard a rumor that he was in on a huge bull kill this week.

Would love to see pics of this bull for sure with the horns on his head.  The sheds were very impressive, but good gawd it's gotta be ridiculous with the head atached.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

I wouldn't be too concerned. I bet they both got a chance to breed a few times.

Wow...from what I"m seeing...washington is quite nearly right there with all the big boys for big bulls this year! Unreal. I bet there are as many big bulls killed there this year as there are in Montana... Unless I"m just hearing of every single big bull killed in WA and not all killed in MT??

I heard from a reliable source that another 450 bull was spotted a couple days before this bull was taken.  Had to settle for second best I guess (that's if it was the same hunter....not sure). :chuckle:
