I am against deleting this thread. Hope Forks gets his cameras back.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

I have spoken with Beardown and have met he and his hunting partner before. I obviously didn't recognize him. He is a quality guy and most certainly not a poacher. I was very careful in the beginning not to accuse him because I have proof of nothing other than missing cameras and a person than enjoys littering and cutting trees down in our national forests. His reward will be getting to see all of the nice bulls that I have pictures of since March. Moderators, please remove pictures of this thread as soon as possible and I will ask to have the entire thread removed as soon as members have a chance to read this reply to clear Beardown's name and reputation. Thanks for understanding.

Forks replied as well as anyone should want. I also think this topic should stay online in hopes of Forks getting more info about his stolen cameras. Also it is a good reminder to be careful about accusing anyone and just to look for more info if you think someone is involved.

Boneaddict, I can see both sides of the trailcam issue, I sort of agree with both sides of the issue, not sure what the answer is?  :dunno:

Spoke with Forks and all is good.  I also have had trailcams stolen, so I know how it feels.  I put up cams for scouting purposes and also just to get cool pictures of critters.  And to all you guys that want them banned,  why dont you hand over your firearms and any of your other rights as well.  Might as well ban everything.

Mods:
Thanks for keeping the thread up...interesting discussion
Maybe the discussion should be...do you allow posting game cam pics of people (as humorous as some are)
