Looks like a dude out hunting to me. I'd need to see pics from a second cam showing our perp (not pictured) laying hands on the missing cam.

This is one of the reasons I am leaning towards hating trail cameras.

 :-\
Bone, I agree with everything else in your post

Only place for trail cams is on private property. Ban them and be done with it.  Flame on!

I think I feel violated Jonathan.   I want to be able to go out and hike without being filmed and studied maybe.  Its like I climb a mountain to get away.   I'm self analyzing at the moment.

No reward unless he gets his cams. Does saying your innocent really mean you are? You are probably scoped and photographed anyhow. Can't say I agree with public posting.

I'm not in vehement contest with you by any means.  I actually dislike a portion of the trail cam users.

Like when people set up on every trail and road within a 2-square mile area (I'm talking to you Mr. Primos Truth in GMU 117)

I guess I balked a bit when I read that sentence in your post because it seemed anti-trail camera use at first glance and I am a huge proponent of not necessarily the use of them but the ability to use them.  I am very sensitive to issues that divide sportsmen and it worries me that we're going to start losing rights.

I have spoken with Beardown and have met he and his hunting partner before. I obviously didn't recognize him. He is a quality guy and most certainly not a poacher. I was very careful in the beginning not to accuse him because I have proof of nothing other than missing cameras and a person than enjoys littering and cutting trees down in our national forests. His reward will be getting to see all of the nice bulls that I have pictures of since March. Moderators, please remove pictures of this thread as soon as possible and I will ask to have the entire thread removed as soon as members have a chance to read this reply to clear Beardown's name and reputation. Thanks for understanding.
