gold tip pro hunters on there way
« on: August 06, 2013, 06:17:14 PM »
Well I finally did it. I got a dozen prohunters 300 cut at 30" with 50gr fact weights.  With these arrows ill be sitting at 472grs with a 13.08%foc   I think these might just fly right out of my bow with broad heads since they are 300 spine and have a decent foc

I just fletched 3 dozen pro hunters about a week or so ago. They are a great arrow and you should be happy with them.

I have a buddy that loves his axis arrows always claims how much more penetration he gets and how they are better.  All I saw is go ask the 8 elk I've killed with my goldtips how much more penetration I needed and I'll ask the elk you've killed oh wait you've never killed an elk sorry my bad.

They will fly we'll enough.  Make sure you square both ends, nock tune, and index them.  You will be good.

So far they seem great. I can put them where ever I want at 40yds. I do know my bow needs a little more tuning before I hunt cause my broad heads are just off a little.
