Have you been to ID ? :chuckle: there is wall tents galore! There are people in camp that dont hunt friends, family members and children.

There were guys last weekend setting up camps for Oct 10 opener

I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

Not everyone has to hike ten miles to find a good animal.... hunt smarter not harder. I love Idaho deer camp!!

I killed Mr. Majestic 200 yards from the road last year. No need to kill myself. Hunt where the elk are..

I have been hunting for about 45 years(yup I'm old), Hunting camp is part of the reason I go. Just going out to hunt solo is OK if you don't get along with or like people. Then you only have to listen to you. Most people like company around.  Not saying you need to hold hand while out and about singing Koombaya,, but a camp with family and friends is right for me. Nowdays I go to deercamp and elkcamp and take armed hikes :chuckle:
Take a kid hunting or fishing, Pass it on, it's not yours to keep!
