Its hunting season, why on earth did I do this?

Leave home without my gun..  :bash:

This morning Im headed down the highway and blam right there poking his head out of the treeline is yogi. I will be back there this evening  :tup:

That happened to me a few years ago.  Went camping with the family..forgot that it was the opener or the bear hunt.  I went for a drive to look for deer and right in the road was a nice bear.  Looked at us for 5 minutes before it went up the hill

I did that last year with a bear, 4x3 blacktail and a rag horn bull. "Just going for a quick 3 mile drive to the store be right back" :bash: all different days of course, but all in their open seasons for the weapons I was hunting.

I never leave home without my rifle during an open season. Shooting a bear off the highway would have been interesting though!
