long day
« on: August 31, 2013, 06:35:00 PM »
We left the house at 430 this morning and spent all day out in the woods.  All we saw was about 10 chipmunks, 4 grouse and ran into a whole lot of other hunters.  One of these hunters decided to put up cams 30-40ft from his rig along with a nice big pile of food a few feet in front of the camera.  After a long day out, still no bear.

Got to keep hitting it... sucks you had to deal with the tool with the cameras and the food.

We left and hit a few other spots hard.  Just a bit surprised that this guy didn't even try to hide anything

Yes there are stupid people out there, was sitting in a tree over watching a clear cut and saw 3 deer headed my way, a s.u.v. pulls up on a road not to far away and spots me in the tree and stops and stares at me like Im gonna do a trick. They were other hunters dressed in camo, why wouldn't they just continue movement and have some respect.  :bash: Needless to say deer ran off

I've had that happen too.  Heck I've had other hunters walk right up to me and start talking to me.  :bash:
