No problem rasbo. Don't pay a lot for it. I've seen them on Gunbroker for over $400 in the bidding wars for one. I think the msp is $289.

Hornady makes the ammo for Winchester or, Hornady developed the round for Winchester. I forget which way.

Don't think Hornady makes any wsm ammo and it's my understanding they won't.

Not yet rasbo. Seems like you can either get the gun and no ammo or ammo and no gun. Weird for sure. If I get a coyote with it, I'll post a picture if it isn't too gross for the kiddies to look at........haha !

A local guy got one, and showed how flimsy and rubbery the plastic stock was.  It's not even reinforced plastic--just plastic.
He couldn't get it to shoot to his liking, so he promptly sold it.  Maybe if somebody else besides Winchester makes ammo for it, it might be good.  Otherwise it will go the way of the 5mm....

How do you roll off something new when all the ammo being produced is being sold? Pull a machine making nail gun blanks and start making a different bullet. I think its a neat idea, and if the ammo isn't too expensive it may stick around. (It may stick around longer if the machine can do runs of bullets and also make nail gun blanks.  )  I don't think Winchester will try and keep this bullet to themselves, but how many rimfire nail gun blank manufactures are there?
