Bring on the most misserable rainy , down poor , windy days and you will see bucks all over. Thats when I just start cruising and cover as much ground as I can till I find the one. Blacktails really start moving when its nasty. Especially just after the hard rain lets up.

Shortly after it stopped we saw a nice 3 pt walking near the Cabelas parking lot. Probably about 15 inches wide and tall.

I've seen some good bucks near there years ago, aren't they going to level all of that forest soon? I wish a timber co., or the State would preserve some of it, that's great habitat.
