I've always liked Rugers. Those are nice rifles. Hope you have a good season with them.

I've never liked ruger but these do feel good in the hand tempted to buy one myself.
Now then, get your equipment—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.  Gen. 27:3

I own several Ruger rifles but have not purchased one of the new Americans. I was with Tmike when he picked up a new American in .243 for his son and love the fact that Ruger went back to a factory adjustable trigger. Here is a good write-up of the Ruger American for anyone interested. http://www.rifleshootermag.com/2012/07/18/review-ruger-american-rifle/

i think that coyote must be deformed or something.. one of his front legs seems to be on backwards...    I know some folks love their .22 centerfires, but I always liked to use may standard big game rifles for coyotes.. shot one with a .30-06 Abolt from 7 paces one time.. Glad you got to test the rifle properly..

:chuckle: the hole the size of a bowling ball on its opposite side may have something to do with the deformation of its leg :dunno: :chuckle:
