Good on ya all!

I left a lot of birds where I was and am going back there this weekend to polish off a few more.

Time to bring law 'n order to the wilds of the high country and this week's rains will help knock down the dust.  I've noticed over the years that grouse hunting always improves on a dry day — this weekend's forecast — after a few days of rain.

This fall's itinerary also includes trips over to the Little Naches country.  Anybody get up there over the weekend and didja see anything resembling dinner on two feathered legs?

Well done! Wish I knew where to go.......the spot I had down SW of Oly got logged......not a bird around.... :bash:

Just a note:

I was using I/C and Mod. chokes with No. 6 Federals. That size shot has always been my favorite for blue grouse.
We don't blame cars for drunk drivers......Why blame guns for violent people...

NRA, Pheasants Forever, WWESSC.....tried to join Washington for Wildlife.org but my IP is banned???

Took a break from Pink fishing to get the dogs out. Went out on recon mission to Hwy 2 area. Weather was really wet starting on the west side and heading up. We found some new roads to explore and bumped a covey around 10:30 when the weather lifted slightly. With all the heavy rain I think the scenting was tough. Knocked down this group with some very late hatchers.  :yike: Good day with my son and the dogs.
