Thanks for the reply guys. I think I'm going to go with the perfekts. I would love to go with the kenetreks but those are out of my budget, for now at least.

Kenetrek makes a "Terrane" boot that you might want to look at.  Not as expensive as the Mountain Extremes...same warranty.  Its a good quality boot.
