I guess for me its a matter of common courtesy. Its a really simple concept. There's no debate, bickering, right, wrong. It is what it is. But I know common courtesy is not for everyone and that's why nobodys getting into my cameras without the keys or an oxy-acetylene cutting torch.

so then you could just walk around putting locks on peoples cameras. kinda like a dog p*ssing on things makes him the owner
By that theory then an unattended quad is litter. I should keep it then.  :bash:
Nope, Also has a registered owner through DMV. There's no question who owns it if law enforcement came, If law enforcement came over a tree stand, Or camera, How are you going to prove its yours. Because you say so?
Easy to prove. I have the key that unlocks it.  ;)
No, cause I'm not a d-bag going around touches other peoples stuff. I have respect for my fellow hunters. Doesn't seem to be alot of that anymore.  :bash:
There is. But there is also for sure a fair share of d-bags. You just notice the D-bags alot more because its affecting you negatively. There's probably alot of solid hunters with good ethics who walk by camera's and leave them alone while just trying not to cross the path of the camera just so there is no false trips. Just because you didn't get them on cam doesn't mean they weren't there.
Actually your not exactly right there. I have gotten several people on my cams over the years. Nobody has ever even come closer to check out my cams. Several just wave and walk on by. I have yet to ever have some dumb*** mess with my stands, blinds or cams and I hunt public land. Guess I have more respectful people in my area.
Why are you getting all offensive like Im the one that has touched your camera's? I never said you wouldn't get people on cam. I said Im sure there are people that have seen your / other peoples camera's and attempted to avoid them. Not all people want to be seen on camera. They go into the woods for solitude and to hunt. Didn't know we were competing on "Who has more ethical hunters in my area". You seem like your getting on the attack.
No it's your idea that if someone leaves something in the woods for their hunt you think that not only os it ok for other people to help themselves to it, but that it's the original owners own fault. That's my issue.
Well your issue is your own, I could really care less. I was just stating fact, That's how it works. Sure we would like to think if its put out there it wouldn't be touched, Sure we would love world peace. That's not the way it works though. I never said its OK and I never AT ALL said it was ok, so get off your high horse and face the facts. Really tired of alot of your negativity. Open your eyes. Dont put your stuff in the woods and expect it not to be touched just because you think "That's the right thing". The right thing is to 1. Find private land to hunt, 2. Secure your stuff so it wont be messed with as easy, 3. Hike more than 1-2 miles off a road and place your stuff while at the same time securing it.

That's my point, People put stuff out there, Unlocked, Unsecured. Then complain when its gone or been tampered with. I don't see how they could expect anything less.
Gonna spend the money on a $100+ camera? Great, dont be cheap and spend the extra $10-30 on a lock to make sure its still there when you come back. That's all.
Personally I'm getting tired of all the complaining. It sucks yes. Did someone bring bolt cutters / torch / or a chainsaw to cut down the tree that your camera was on?
Oh no, dang they just lifted your camera off the mount it was sitting on and walked off with it, :dunno:

Is it that you forgot how to read, or forgot how to decipher the english language? Has nothing to do with "growing up" It has everything to do with understanding how the world works and what you need to do to prevent idiots touching your stuff.
