first time bow hunting

This was my first year hunting. I got my first deer on day 2. It was only a doe but im still happy because it was with my first knocked arrow for the weekend. Next year ill hold out for a buck. :IBCOOL:

Awesome job congrats. I said the same thing about the buck. However many times a doe stands their just begging to be drilled with an arrow. I feel it is my duty to oblige her. And then I say I'll get that big buck next year. It's just to hard to pass up easy meat.

Thank you all!!!! Ill try to posts pictures when I get a chance.  I was so excited at the time that taking pics was no where in my mind so I only have a couple.  But since im still new at the I was wondering how often I should be waxing my bowstring. And other general maintenence like that????

Depends on how much you shoot. I shoot 5-10 arrows a day and wax it about once a week.

Nice job on your first deer. Mine first was a doe and after a few bucks, I will take a doe any day. Does taste the best.
