Nice!  Love the four point w/single eye gaurds

Thought it was a 3x3 with single eyeguards?  Or is it a 5x5 missing double eyeguards?

Nice story and fun hunt!

I'd say a four point...probably varies depending on where you are from

Thanks. It was a fun hunt. He had never done a spot and stalk before, always hunted from tree stands. The GMU was 516 and the Navy Officer is originally from Missouri so this was extra special for him. This was his first time elk hunting and his wife will be proud to have those horns on her wall. Tonight I'm heading back out, hope to get mine.

The liver was still intact, almost cut in half, but I salvaged it. Got the heart too  :tup: I thought it was pretty good shooting. The liver shot stopped him and when he turned he got punched in the lungs.
