Big 4x4 blackie
« on: September 04, 2013, 08:26:55 PM »
Well actually I saw a big 4x4 and a nice 4x3. I live on the east side, but work at times on the wet side. I thought I would share my sighting with with my west side brothers and hope one of you could get them! Or even see if they are hunt-able.

I was headed up hwy 9 and it was just south of south 160 st. There is a bunch of cleared land and some machinery on the west side of the hwy and they were just out munching on clover.

The big one was probably 20" wide and quite tall. In my opinion he was a shooter. Go get em and let me know if that area is huntable.
If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?

that area is mostly private property. All land West of Hwy 9 in Snohomish county is firearm restricted. Gotta check with the Sheriff Dept for a map of non-shooting zones

I have an archery tag. Please send GPS coordinates.
Every thought of my being is in regards to being a high tech predator and I relish the role.

I posted this in hopes that someone with an archery tag would be able to try and hunt it. You would have to be an idiot to use a rifle with that many houses around. I just thought if someone wanted to do a little leg work they might get permission to hunt and kill a good buck. :dunno:

Great work bud, thats a tough area to get permission to hunt though, lots of  :tree1:  in there. There was a newspaper article last year with a picture of a nice 2 pt with an arrow hanging out of it, caused a huge uproar. Good on you for trying though!
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.
