good way to call a bear

I recommend a call made by hand from bacon.  Or donuts.

I agree, this is the perfect way to call bears.  However effectiveness may vary depending on the quantity of bacon consumed at breakfast!

The problem with an app on your phone is it's probably not going to be loud enough to really cover an area.  If the bear is close it most certainly can work, but you are much better off buying a good quality call.

yep. i called the montesano wdfw office about it last week and you can't use elec calls for deer or elk, but it's okay for bear.
