Lost my Elk101 Calls :(

Lost all my calls.
Friggen depressing. I just bought them like 2 months ago, and I've already lost all 3 of them (They were in the same bag) My Bugling Bull, Yellow Mellow Momma, and my All-star. 
I've literally been obsessing on it the last few days, tearing apart the house. I know I had one last week because I was annoying the people at MacDonalds with it.
All of a sudden, GONE.  I'm stumped, and sol.

Sorry just had to rant, anyone else lose something important during hunting season that they felt was important?

I lost one on the opener. Used a new one on day two and the morning of day three I found the first one.

I don't think they're lost or misplaced. I would check SG's purse or find out where she hides stuff.  Ya can't just lose them just like that.

If that's the case, That leaves two options..... I ate them, or I threw them away with the rest of the garbage.

Naw I just stripped my bag last night to go into the washer and did a inventory check and removed a few more things. No calls. Just my hand calls. I have a cow hand call but all my diaphragm calls are gone.

I lost a nice R&R predator call. Ordered another and told him I needed a call to find the lost call.

Do you practice your calling while driving?  Check your rig, under your seats, on the dash, etc.  My rigs have eaten many a mouth call over the years.  So has the forest

Do like I do when I lose some thing and tear the place apart and can't find it . I go buy a new one . Then in about a week I find my old ones.

Yep I lost an Elk Commander in my truck last month and spent 30 minutes looking for it.  Ended up finding it finally and had a nice clean truck cab.

.... O_O not after you were sorta keeping me up until 2am last night while looking for them, and I have to be up for work at 5am.. yeah not fun, definitely would have gave them up by then.    lol jk.

Go to walmart, and get one of the primos three packs its like ten bucks they are great reeds for a cheap price.

I have no money or time to order new calls, then wait 2 weeks to get them. Season will be over
Oh well, not like I was gonna fill my elk tag anyways lol.

I am a firm believer that your experience will be a direct result of the amount of work you put into it.  There is allot of elk season left, and honestly they will only get more active as the cows estrus cycles start to show up.  The calls may not be needed depending on where you are hunting allot of elk in high pressure areas will associate calls with humans, and avoid them.

put yourself in the right spot and you wont have to even worry about elk calls, use others to your advantage, you should get a hoochie mama, tough to lose those and easy to use and they work awesome, where are you going to be huntn dude, i could meet up with ya in graham and you could borrow my hoochi mama, theyare adjustable to one is for calfs and one is for cows, let me know dude

yeah do not feel bad ...I bought 5 calls from Phelps and came home with 2  Just makes me sick I lost the one we called 3 turkeys in with ...good thing for Phelps
