Horn Rot Bull
«

Shot opening evening, 60 yard shot...30 yard recovery...big question is what's the deal with horn rot ?!?! The 3rd, 4th and 5th points on the right side are all rotten. I can stick a screwdriver right down the center of them....no hoof rot though!!!

I've seen that a few times here in the shop. It may be that the horn just didn't harden enough before he stripped his velvet. One of the bio's on here may be able to shed some light on it.
Congrat's by the way. Nice bull regardless!

Congrats! My first spike bull had soft antlers, I could squeeze blood out of them.

I killed one 2 years ago that had it. It's fairly common in the area I killed it. What GMU did you kill it in?
