First Goose of the Season....
« on: September 10, 2013, 12:49:58 PM »
Got up at 430 and to my spot kinda late because of the fog where i was in my boat finally set decoys at a undisclosed location or well I thought It was because i was the only one there until I start to hear honkers all around me then here they come a group of 8 flying real low right into my floaters then i let them have it and bang I knock one right outta the sky and start to focus on the next victim and all of a sudden I hear more shooting not even 300 yards from me, someone snuck in behind where i was up above me and scared the heck outta me so I decided to pack it up with just my one goose and call it a day but still had a good morning.

Looks like it would look good breasted, marinated, and on the grill. Nice

Added to my freezer again today and had way better luck. Stayed kinda foggy and hazy keeping them low and decoying into my only 6 floater Canada's. I'm ready for the fall season now.
