I wasn't being a smarta**. I really did see a lot of deer where I said. Big, fat grainfed mulie's. One would have to scout around a little but the areas got a lot of accessible land. Heck, I'd hunt it if I could walk.
The first bird may get the worm, but it's the second rat that gets the cheese.

At 17 you will have plenty of years ahead of you to scout and come up with a list of preferred spots around there.

My suggestion is get a couple quality maps, hit the areas already suggested, and start branching out from there. :twocents:
