Peters Taxidermy in Graham.  I wish I could get the offset shoulder in a sneak pose.

Brian, have him alter the form for you

I am not sure about this pedestal option??? Does it still hang on the wall? and is it normal for them to alter the forms. This is all new to me?

I would do a sneak or semi sneak with a turn so the side you want to highlight is out. Who is doing the work?
:yeah:

Great Bull congrats! I really don't like a straight mount. Give them a turn and it adds so much more life. If your talking about a McKenzie(form company) semi sneak offset shoulder mount they are turned very little so you kind of get the best of both worlds. If you are going to hang him high you might look at McKenzie's antler clearance form, (but we like to pick the nose up some on our mounts, on that form. I don't like the nose down, but they do that for antler clearance for really large bulls.)
With this said, depends a lot on how much cape you left, the offset does take more skin.
Hope this helps. Get what you want though, so you will be happy with him. Left or right turn depends on where you will be hanging him and where you will be viewing him from.
We give your trophy that final compliment!

I am glad, I did not have a lot of time to research it. I got his name from a friend and basically just took it straight to him.

I may have your bull on a trail cam pic, the card is still in my camera though. If it is the same bull I will get you a pic.  We had a 5x5 on my camera when we checked it two weeks ago. Looks like your bull.
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...

Awesome Bull!! I'm with ya on the offset shoulder with a turn. I would ask about altering the form to accomodate if possible. Anyway you go with him he should be a gorgeous mount.
