How much to get a coyote hide tanned?
« on: November 21, 2008, 03:06:42 AM »
Shot a nice coyote while deer hunting on Tuesday and skinned it. I'm considering having it tanned to throw over the back of the sofa in my den. Any idea on how much this will cost me?

Moyles tannery in ID charges $22.00 for a single coyote.  They do nice work.

http://www.moytown.com/Garment.html

Heres the last batch I had them do.

They just came out of the boxand haven't been brushed out yet.  I cut the short tail one not the tannery.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

This is for AWS:

I am thinking about starting to varmint hunt and am currious why you have your coyote hides tanned and not just sell them to a furrier before spending the money to tan them?
