Deer love apple trees
« on: September 11, 2013, 07:25:20 PM »
This is one of the frequent backyard visitors to my apple trees.  This is the first time I have seen him out of velvet.  Hopefully he will be around come muzzle loader season

As long as the apples last, he'll be there.  If you want to see him in daylight, shake the tree in the morning and pick up apples in the evening so he doesn't get rewarded by showing up in the dark.   :twocents:

He's a dandy! I hope he sticks around for you.

I have massive apple tree in my front yard. Only doe's eat from it and only during rifle season... never a buck lol.

That's a nice mature buck. If he'll show at daylight, which is getting doubtful by the minute, you'll get him. I'm betting , short of the rut, he's nocturnal.

If you dont do it this year, you'll be one year older when you do!

Plant some roses and you will really attract them
