Sharpening Muzzy's
«

Does anyone sharpen or resharpen their Muzzy's or replaceable blades? I strictly shoot broadheads when practicing, no field tips. Anyway, I was wondering if I should just "touch up" my blades or if I should buy factory blades? What do you do?

I resharpen my blades but replace them if there is a chip on them.

I don't resharpen any of my blades... Of course with a Montec being one piece you have to replace it anyways if it gets a big nick in it... But I wont re-use a head or worry about shaprening them because I don't feel it's as sharp no matter what, so I just get new ones... As for the muzzy's I would replace the blades no questions asked so you have no worries about them being razor sharp... It's a replaceable razor blade - cheap and easy!

I use a diamond to resharpen mine. It gets them sharper then new and its cheaper to buy a good fine diamond then a new set of blades if you know how to do it:twocents:
