So I'm going on a 4 day solo hunt. I usually don't hike alone for more then a day or two. Not by choice anyways. I will be this time. I'd like to take something to read a bit, especially if I can't sleep. I'm always feeling guilty I don't read my Bible enough. I thought about taking it. But that's a lot of weight. Those small Gideon bible's are hard for me to read. Maybe I'll print out a dozen pages of my bible to take. Anybody else take something to read in the backcountry? Any suggested chapters?
If you cannot sleep you are not hunting hard enough
