Good job.  Keep it up.  The quality time in hunting camp with family and friends, is more important than any kill.   love the positive attitude!  Now, go kill a bull so you think about the hunt every time you look at the mount!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Yeah, i have come to realize more and more how special the memories and the time i spend with my dad and brother are.
my grandma passed away towards the end of september and it made me really realize how short life is and to not take special time with family for granted.
We have had a blast so far and even though i have only been hunting solid for 3 years i have been taught by my dad since i was 10 that hunting is not about KILLING animals.  its about so much more than that.
I enjoy explaining that statment to people who dont hunt when they say "did you kill anything"? i say "nope......and the trip was perfect."
they look at me puzzeled and i just smile.

You know what I don't get... you had all summer to plan and you took several scouting trips, yet I can't figure out how you didn't secure the full two weeks off from work?

I think that would have been at the top of my list!

Good luck!
