The only problem with using broadheads is twofold.  1) they are expensive and 2) you'll end up not being able to take shots when the birds are up in a tree.  I can't bring myself to cut loose a broadhead arrow, knowing that if I miss that thing could end up who knows where.  I'm not going to be that guy.

I use judo points, and carry 1 or 2 grouse arrows in my quiver when I'm out.  I keep all of my old arrows that won't spin broadheads, and use them for grouse arrows.

It's a kick in the pants to shoot grouse with a bow.

Yeah, it was a target of opportunity borne out of frustration with the mornings deer hunt. I wouldn't have taken the shots if they weren't on the ground. I wanna try out the G5 small game heads, but they look like they would tear everything up. Grabbed some judos last time i was at big r also.

My buddy uses the G5 small game heads and likes them.  I like judos because they are cheaper :yike:
