Bears are smart
« on: September 14, 2013, 03:41:29 PM »
A couple bears have been playing havoc with my beehives. These trail cam pics from last Sunday show me checking things out at 7:55. Then at 8:16, one minute past legal shooting, this bugger walks by for a portrait. I swear these SOBs own calendars, watches and WDFDW pamphlets.

If man was not supposed to eat animals, God wouldn't have made them out of meat.

It seems like bears would be a bad mix for someone owning bees.  I keep thinking of Winnie the pooh for some reason.

I spoke with a Sgt. At the WDFW about my "situation" and was told that shooting a bear over my beehives would not be considered baiting. I asked that question specifically.
