Is anybody going for a triple?
« on: September 14, 2013, 09:34:26 PM »
Two beardless and a tom.
I am going to be in the NE and hope to see some beardless. Then head south for a tom.
I need to buy more tags before I go.
Gathering is easy. Hunting is a challenge.

 :hello:       Good luck ...

:dunno:   This will be a rare year for me of not getting out.  I've tripled on most years, but between funerals, wedding, birthday parties, etc.  just to busy this year ... and I still have 3 in the freezer, so even though I may have to turn in my man card,  going to wait for spring for the triple.

We're going to try this weekend. We have limited time to hunt but have some good land that holds birds. Just need to close the deal now.

I've got the good old boys (my Dad and older brother) back together from our 2009 hunt. We are headed to the Colville area in the beardless only range. If we have some luck early we might sally forth and try for a Tom in a different GMU. I'm at the back of the train for turkey this year because I was the only one who got one last time. Should be an adventure.

Just bought my 3 tags today. Hopefully they are in the area like last year. We crushed them on that hunt. The area i am at has good food supply and a little water so it should be good. Since i already tagged out on deer i will be being the butcher for everyone else for there deer and will be hunting turkeys the rest of the time.
Maturity is when you have the power to destroy someone who did you wrong but instead you breathe, walk away, and let life take care of them.
