While this doesn't go under fact, no survey can make that claim, it is a very valid statistic.  The attached document is the results of a survey done by NSSF on the support of hunting.  The overwhelming majority of Americans support the right to hunt.  Washington State used the same company to do the same survey in Washington only the support numbers in our state were higher than the national average.  The anti's know these numbers are true too.  Watch their tactics.  Have you ever seen where the antis try legislatively or through administrative code to ban hunting outright?  They do it with the introduction and uncontrolled growth of large predators, environmental reasons, lack of access to hunting areas, the courts, and the Endangered Species Act to take away our rights one at a time.  It is important to remember that we are the majority.

"The history of the failure of war can almost be summed up in two words: too late.
 * Too late in comprehending the deadly purpose of a potential enemy.
 * Too late in realizing the mortal danger.
 * Too late in preparedness.
 * Too late in uniting all possible forces for resistance.
 * Too late in standing with one's friends."
- General Douglas MacArthur

If guns kill people, then…

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.
