Ok I've been hunting for about five years now and have learned a lot along the way, but something I haven't learned was staring me down last night as I was settling in fory evening stand. How do you decide where to set up in the evening. I've heard evening can be a very successful time for hunting but I have only seen animals ( for the most part) in the morning and a few throughout the. Please share your experience with me west side elk hunters. I'm getting tired of so close I am celebrating on my head to only fall short once again( no shot, busted, etc) vent.
