Start a hunting camp.
« on: September 16, 2013, 06:24:07 PM »
So I had a thought about starting a hunting camp.  I know there are a lot of lone Hunters here.  Wouldn't care who joins.   Anyone interested?  I an a bow hunter but have a rifle and black powder ago i am open of we can get a group together.  I have a set up for deer was hoping this being for elk and next year.  I know most of us are setup for this year. So here are a few things.
1.  Where should we hunt?  Eastside or west.
2.  What equipment?  Bow, blackpowder, rifle.
Add away if you think of more and who is interested.

Great idea Russ

I was invited to join a new hunt camp this year with some members of HuntWA and feel I have some new life long friends this last week.

I know its hard to start or get in to a good hunting camp, and for me, camp comradery is about as important as where I hunt. The people in camp can make a bad season not look so bad  :dunno:

Very cool idea- but oh so risky. My hunting partners are chosen with about as much scrutiny as my wife was. I'd love to have a camp of hunters, but it's tough to find one good hunting partner, let alone a group. Good Luck!

Love the idea! I have three new brothers!!! It is amazing to have a great elk camp
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...

I'd be interested. I have been trying to get into elk hunting for a couple years.

Nope. Thought about a smokepole, but never really looked into it.
