i plan to go,  i might do a guided with them b/c for me after GAS and lodging ETC... it is over 300.  I have to drive all the way from oak harbor and with a 6.2 L it's expensive... and my wife travels with me with our pets so even campsites are expensive.  :\

Still looking for getting an archery elk camp started.  I got a western tag this year, no multi season.  Sticking with the west side this year.

I was out of town for last couple times you all met. You be interested in meeting up again for a 3D shoot or something in the next month or so?

I am a member at CRB.  Unfortunately I won't be able to make the big 3d shoot in July.  I think we can do something though in the next month or so.

I bowhunt and I would be open to joining up. Was talking with Irishevox via PM's about the eastside. I guess it depends where on the Westside. Maybe shoot me a PM Russ.

Interested too. Have been thinking of trying to find public areas behind locked gates and riding bikes in deep to areas less pressured. Last years archery elk hunt was fun, but most of our time was too close to road access and a bit crowded. One of my partners from last year may head east. The other has a really limited time table, even tighter than mine. This will be my second archery season after 25 years away from the bow.

Hi Russ,  I just found this post; just what I've been looking for! I'm retired and usually hunt with my son who's a Ranger at Ft Lewis, but his leave rarely matches up with elk or deer season.  I'm looking for a person or group to hunt with next year.  I hunt bow, modern firearm and black powder.  Lots of hunting, but nothing but tag soup for the past several years.  East side, west side, doesn't matter to me.  This year I got the Pe Ell South permit, but we'll see if it was worth it.

I'm OK for early westside archery elk, but if anything develops  for muzzy deer or late archery elk, let me know.  I'd love to develop  a new circle of hunting buddies!

Not going to lie!!  Read the first two pages and now the question...Age limits???  Iv'e been hunting with my boys since the oldest was 9, 14 now.  Sister moved to Tennessee for college this year and well??  This was his first year bow hunting for elk and he looks forward to many more!!  We currently hunt the NE for deer MF.  Always looking to add to the camp.  It's very dynamic 2-12 depending on who can get time off and what kids they're bringing..once had it up to 16!!!  For the 4 day hunt lol.  Anyway,  we have some room for anyone that is just starting out or just wants to join for company.  As far as Elk goes...it's a 3 man camp and we hunt the east side, manashtash, and would love company or to join up!
We are what we repeatedly do.  Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.

Awesome invite.  Unfortunately I am laid up after knee surgery.  Hope to get out for late archery season though.  I think we have the beginnings of a camp for next year.
