And another fine blackie goes down, way to go.

Well total i got around 60lbs of meat off the bones. I kind of sucked at butchering and was doing it alone, so I coulda got more but just gave up. I dropped the non-backstrap meat off at the butcher today, 2 weeks they told me to get it back, but its usually less then that. I'm stoked to try their jerky as I haven't had there's before.

I buried the carcass in the woods and MAN am I not in digging shape, hopefully the dogs don't get it... thanks for all the congrats, I'm going to fry up one of the tender loins for din' tonight.

I'm definitely still trying to get after that bear.... the snow pushed back up so hopefully they are around still.
