Do your homework. (scouting.) Put in some time, it all pays off in the end. Where I live (whatcom county) they are heavy in the rut. so if you find some doe's there are going to be some bucks close by.

Welcome Ron, we get
a lot
of first time posters wanting someone to give out their favorite hunting spots. It is a general rule that you won't get much general season advise but you will get special permit help from others who have had those permits and the help usually comes via a PM (Personal Message). If everyone gave out their favorite spot then it would most likely not be the favorite for long because it would be overrun with hunters.
