Flizz your revolver with buffalo bore rounds will do great. Here is a link from my deer hunt last year with my revolver with the same rounds.

I have done my fair share of handgun hunting and love it. Your 357 will do just fine. I run 125 xtps in one of mine and it has done the trick a few times.

Sorry for not actually responding to your question. I've killed one with mine. My opinion is with the correct bullet combination you should be just fine.

I carry 200grn Corbon Lead-Hardcast in my .357 when I'm in the woods.  Another great option I'd used is Nosler.  They produce .357 180grn Partitions.
