He's practicing his disappearing act.
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Boneaddict, your photography is amazing.  But what really impresses me about you is your eyesight.  Perhaps you have gained the ability to spot creatures like this deer from years of experience; I don't know.  In any case, there are many examples within your photographs where I would have never seen the critter.

Keep it up--I, for one, am very impressed.

He never moved, and yes I sort of got a pic of his headgear.  As soon as PB comes back up I will post it.

Makes you wonder how many we walk right by like that...  Nice work Bone
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Oregon Rifle deer season starts this Saturday! Cant wait to get away from cell phones, sirens, call tones, crazy drivers, 2am smoke investigations cause someone let their pile of weeds smolder and the neighbor calls in every little BS crap thing and has a bad case of anxiety..........I am ready to succumb to the call of the wild.
