TAG SOUP AGAIN!!
« on: September 24, 2013, 12:12:50 AM »
I tried to hold out for a buck this year. Previous years I have shot a doe while at elk camp and got it out of the way. This year I wanted to take a buck as I have not yet shot a buck with my bow. Then I waited to long to decide to take a doe. Now its tag soup.  :bash: I did shoot a doe with a 08 Tundra this spring

My Older Brother decided to get married right in the middle of the week I took off to hunt the late season. To make matters worse I am his best man. I don't think I am going to have a chance this year. Guess its time to focus on tagging a bear and steelhead fishing. All in all this past year has been filled with tragedy obstacles and frustration. My bird dog was killed in February, then I bought a house and spent all of my savings getting it comfortable to live in plus buying lots of tools and equipment. and Then a change in position at work caused issues with my time. Then I had my monthly National Guard duty right in the middle of season. Then my Grandfather the man who got me interested in hunting when I was just a kid passed on The 17th this pretty much ended my season for me. There have been some hiccups with property I had permission to hunt changing hands then other hunting spots turned out to be grand central station for hunters. I need a beer. and a bear. then some snow to chase kitties
