scents/sprays
« on: October 27, 2008, 09:43:12 PM »
Just curious who has had success with what attractants.  I have hunting for blacktails on a local farm.  Seen several does a spike and a 2 pt.  The owner has told me he has seen 2 different 3 pts but I haven't seen them yet.  I have put out a couple of wicks but they haven't seemed to help.  I saw the 2 pt Sunday on the way to church and he was tailing a doe so I think they are starting to rut pretty good.  Any ideas.

I use the Carlton Calls Blacktail Doe in heat scent. They are one of only a few blacktail scent makers.
Just because I look big, dumb, and ugly doesn't mean I am. It just means I can stomp you for calling me it.

James Valley scents are very good.  I like Lethal Weapon for blacktails.
