Awesome video!!!
It is hard to follow one great vision in a world of darkness and of many changing shadows. Among these shadows men get lost.

When I hunted that country in the early '90's, those repod trees were barely started.  The cuts where I got elk where open, but I suppose now I wouldn't be able to see an elk.  Nice bull.

I tried watching this hours ago ...then the power went out at 10 till 4  :yike: Just before the husky game ....nice Bull Congrats to your Dad ...Videoing is fun but it takes a lot of patients and commitment to actually get a kill shot on tape .....When my kid shot his bear this year I decided I was getting it on video no matter what happened ....I can watch that stuff all day long especially when it comes from the average guy

Its a JVC everio model. Nothing fancy, but compact and will record in HD with decent zoom and good audio pickup for over 4 hours on one battery life. And a simple tripod

I started hunting there late 90s too and while I was still about 10-12 years old I too remember when the clearcuts had barely started regrowing and were a haven for elk.
