Looking for someone to hunt the Elk 574/578 or 568 (more of hump for me) zones blackpowder. Over the past few seasons I have discovered I am somewhat elk illiterate and blacktails are a more nocturnal spookier version of whitetails. Only have a few elk seasons under my belt (moved out here in 09). So looking for someone that does not mind sharing some knowledge. I'll provide duck hunts in return, have a couple draws for McNary that have open seats right now. New black lab pup, so I'll be doing more handling than shooting this year.
Been hunting blackpowder seasons since 2000, mainly whitetails on the east coast. Headed back for the VA opener this year. Physically fit (regularly run 6-15 milers in the mountains) and have no aversion to 3am wakeups. My favorite color is mossy oak shadow grass and I like long walks in the marsh at 0'dark:30.
