Best pic on the forums this year. Way to go.

Jimbo: "That's right, Stanley. Animals are much easier to shoot in the morning."

Thanks for all the nice comments guys.  He gets to see and read your comments with me and it just fuels his fire.

He did not want to give it up.  He did help clean it when we got home which he thought was pretty cool.

Did he keep some feathers? As his trophy?

No but he kept the shotgun hull that was used to kill it.  I am sure there will be many more in the coming weeks.

just a warning from a guy who grew up with a good mentor for a father.  he might have a long period of being a rebellious p.o.s in his teenage years, but thats growing up.  he'll come back when hes done f-ing around.  be prepared for a decade or so of disappointment, then everything will be fine

I've got a short temper so he doesn't get a decade......maybe a month and even that is too long.   :chuckle:

i saw your pic with the doe you killed.  but dude, i grew up getting ripped on for my huge head.  when i got measured for a custom tophat for my prom the chick measuring my head laughed at me.  our huge heads are to hold our huge brains man.  we are the proud, the few..
