Cougar hunting from a snowmobile?
« on: September 26, 2013, 08:32:17 PM »
Years ago i met an old guy that claimed he would hunt cougars from his snowmobile without the use of dogs. After there was enough snow, he would drive the roads until he cut a fresh track then follow the track until the cat eventually treed or he would see it.  Claimed he had several kills this way.  Said his favorite area was badger pocket near Ellensburg.

Anyone else ever do this or hear of this method?
