2013 archery buck
« on: September 28, 2013, 01:52:53 AM »
Not much of a story writer but here it goes.  September 1st me and a buddy get in the blind 3 pm or so and around 7 pm he comes in, stops and starts feeding quartering away shot 25 yards. So I start to draw he hears me and I settle my pin and let it rip miss, spun my arrow when he ducted. My buddy says the arrow went just right in front of his chest man I was upset/sick and I though that was my last chance at him for this season. I decided to give it a week before I check my cam again sure enough he was coming in the daylight sometimes. So I started hunting him again and it turned into a game of cat a mouse, never comes in the days i'm sitting there and comes when i'm not lol. So 9 evening sits later on September 24 he comes in at around 615, start to draw quarting towards me, almost facing straight at me 22 yards settle my pin in the middle of his chest and let it rip. Arrow went though the heart and came out just in front of the back ham and he ran about 60 yards and feel over.

Congrats  that's a very nice white tail with some serious eye guards. Do you have a good story to go with it?

Don't look so excited~!   :chuckle:

That's a beauty! Looks like P&Y to me.  That's also real late to still have velvet dangling off the antlers.
