Cooking is a woman's job!

put my wife and I in a cooking competition and Ill win hands down  :IBCOOL: from the sound of it a lot of guys on here can hold there own in cooking some good grub. :EAT:

We don't "compete" we simply enjoy the other person's culinary creations.  Any young man/boy that does not learn how to cook is missing out on a lot of good meals between being in momma's arms and having a wife....   :twocents:

Smoked goose with a Maple glaze.  Lemon pasta with fresh garden basil pesto, and a tomato/arugula salad, with my special sesame seed dressing.
If you love something you will set it free, if it don't come home, hunt it down and kill it.

KC kracker your menu sounds sounds way to similar to mine :) /// I have been cooking for my family for a long time How often do you actually eat what you cook?

ALWAYS!!!  :chuckle:

as for cedar plank, yumm, soak that plank in wine all night THEN grill it, oh yes Mmmmm

Would have never thought of wine instead of water but it makes sense. No wine in stock now but when I get back from my turkey hunt I will try it out. Thanks for the tip!

I love a fat chunk of chinook on a wine soaked cedar plank with a little salt & pepper, nothing else, no words to describe it

I was told by my kids and my daughter's best friend that I HAVE to cook them my famous chicken fried deer steak.  Cubed tenderloins dredged in flour/pepper mix then pressed into a mixture of saltine and ritz crumbs with a little pinch of my special Italian seasoning blend.  My daughter's friend has grown up eating deer and elk her whole life (about 3 out of every 5 meals)  but she says mine is the best she has ever eaten.  Let's just say that when she is over for my "crummy deer steak" there are NO leftovers, and she usually eats like a bird.   :chuckle:

My wife made homemade pizza last night. The dough had red wine in it. It was excellent! Tonight she did a elk stew. Cant wait to eat.

Change of plans, instead of deer crummy steak it was homemade tater soup with a ton of bacon.  Mmmmm......  Horking some down right now.

Moose roast with roasted red potatoes, carrots, onions, and sweet potatoes (sweet potatoes not from the garden, maybe next year).  My wife made a good one tonight!
