Unfortunatelly, the actual correct thing to do is call fish and wildlife to remove the cameras. why, because if the trespasser shows up with law enforcement at your house with serial numbers or some other distinguishable proof that they are his cameras then you could get a larceny ticket while he is getting his trespassing ticket. Since Im sure he knew he was on your property I imagine he has an idea where to find his illegally placed camera when it comes up missing. Sucks, but we law abiding folks have to do the right thing even if it doesnt feel like we are getting even.

So, he'd risk a trespass violation to get his camera's back? I don't think so. People who break the law don't frequently use it.

Here you go...........

Since you already have a cam out to catch them coming and going get their pics, photo shop them up with some banners like "trespasser", save the pics back on the cards, put them back in and let them come check their cams......to be a fly on the wall when they see their own pics coming and going from a different cam and the note "trespassers beware, cops already called" across their own pic......
:yeah: Best answer yet!

Thanks for all the advice. Im actually driving up to my property right now. I will grab the camers and bring them home. I had my buddy check and make sure they were still there this morning and they are. Pics will follow as soon as I get home. Im thinking if I end up keeping the cameras I will donate one to the youth hunt winner this year. Any thoughts?

Thanks all

I've got no problem with you using one of your "extra" cams that were dontated to your property being given to a youth.

You should keep one for yourself and the other one do a give away with a game on this sight..

Something like the guess the location of the pic thread... The weight of a previous kill.. how many points is the biggest buck  you have shot... How many deer you've shot in your life..  The weight of you  :chuckle:

A fun game like that, who ever answers correct, first, wins the camera and the winner pays for shipping to their house?  :dunno:

IDK.. could get fun and since you're planning on getting rid of one, might as well be given to a hunt wa member.

Stick with youth....first youth tag filled during modern....something like that.....smallest deer or ugliest deer killed by a youth.
