Thanks for all the advice. Im actually driving up to my property right now. I will grab the camers and bring them home. I had my buddy check and make sure they were still there this morning and they are. Pics will follow as soon as I get home. Im thinking if I end up keeping the cameras I will donate one to the youth hunt winner this year. Any thoughts?

Thanks all

Cool idea!

Lol.   might have to offer my " bait" for them to use.. under my strict supervision of course.

They still will lose there cameras though.

Almost there. Gonna lose service so I will update in a bit.

Thanks again

@ Smossy- you simple put "wrong" without an explanation? If you take someone else's property, it larceny. So to try and call me out for actual sound advice does the author of this post no help at all, so please explain how I was wrong or don't blast me for no reason? thanks
@ pianoman- I agree that someone who is trespassing is probably not gonna come back around.. but two wrongs don't make it right.

I do think you deserve to keep a camera that is left on your property but that's not the law. So, I was just giving sound advice not trying to go against the advice of "teaching them a lesson".

What's funny is that someone is going to come on here in the next couple weeks and complain that someone "stole" their cameras.  They will then go into a long diatribe about thieves and then talk about how they are going to wire up a camera to a shotgun shell or fix one to an exploding die pack, or setting up a camera on a camera to catch these "crooks".   :chuckle:

Like others I'd leave a note with contact number, unless they are extremely dumb they KNEW they was a doing wrong, and why on earth would you set up a cam on an obvious bait pile................ perhaps they haven't a clue that they have been found out and yet more pictures of coming and going have been secured. They'll have to make the call of shame to get em back.
