ACTION ALERT: Contact USFWS – Support their Proposal to Delist the Gray Wolf in the Lower 48 States

Please contact the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to give your support for their plans to remove the gray wolf from the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife.  The species of gray wolf proposed for delisting are not threatened or endangered; they should be removed from the list as soon as possible.  Hopefully this action will bring some sanity back into the wolf issue along with wildlife management based on sound and unbiased science versus being influenced by the emotional diatribe and ESA abuses by extremist organizations.

Link to the web page where you can submit a comment of support for the proposal:
http://www.regulations.gov/#!docketDetail;D=FWS-HQ-ES-2013-0073

Please take action and pass this on.

Thank you.

TAKE ACTION and PASS IT ON!

Big Game Forever has provided a fast and easy method to contact all of your elected representatives (President, Vice President, U.S. Senators, and U.S. Congressperson) and the agency leaders (Secretary of the Interior, Secretary of Agriculture, and USFWS Deputy Director of Operations) involved with the proposed national wolf delisting.  Tell them you support the national wolf delisting and that you would like them to support the proposal as well.  It only takes a minute of your time to send the prewritten communication.

TAKE ACTION!  Take a minute of your time to make a big difference to help protect our abundant herds of moose, elk, deer, and other wildlife.

“You can send a message in support of wolf delisting at http://capwiz.com/biggameforever/issues/alert/?alertid=62830341&PROCESS=Take+Action .  The comment period has been extended to Oct. 28th, 2013.”

Thank you.

Message from Big Game Forever:

"Folks,

This week, three public hearings on the proposed national wolf delisting will be held across the country. The first hearing will be held tonight in Washington D.C. On Wednesday a second hearing will be held in Sacramento, California. On Friday a third hearing will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  These hearings are being held by US Fish and Wildlife Service as part of the public comment period.

Concerns have been raised that 2 of the 3 hearings will be held in states that are not faced with expansion of wolves in the near future. Big Game Forever will have a representative at each of the hearings to support efforts to restore state management authority over wolves and to protect wild game populations.

We encourage American sportsmen and livestock producers to submit comments in support of state management of wolves. You can send a message in support of wolf delisting at http://capwiz.com/biggameforever/issues/alert/?alertid=62830341&PROCESS=Take+Action The comment period has been extended to Oct. 28th, 2013.
